Follow-up if you report a concern
Concerns about criminal acts with extremist motives are handled in the regional Info-houses where relevant competencies are brought together for a systematic, coordinated and qualified analysis and assessment of the concerns.
As part of the effort to prevent extremism regional Info-houses have been established in a collaboration between the 98 municipalities and the 12 police districts in Denmark.
The Info-houses build on many years of experience from the SSP-collaboration between schools, the social services and the police where, after the Administration of Justice Act, there is a possibility to share certain information on individual citizens in order to prevent crime.
The central actors are the “Info-house gate keepers” from the police and the municipality. Furthermore, there may, depending on the nature of the concern, be participation from psychiatric services, the Prison and Probation Service or the immigration authorities.
